Proximo to Develop HMO Data Warehouse for Vangent

Proximo Consulting Services, Inc. and its partner company Minetech, Inc., will be working together to develop a data warehouse system for Vangent, Inc. With revenues in excess of $520 million dollars, Vangent is a leader in business process outsourcing for many clients, including important government agencies such as the US Navy, the Transportation Security Adminstration, and Medicare/Medicaid.
The warehouse will be capable of accepting claims and call data from any HMO. Data will be cleaned and posted to the warehouse where it can then be appended with external data and
"scored". The scoring will be based upon statistical models developed by Minetech that will allow the HMO to predict behavior of the plan members.
