COTERIE: Community Enabling Software
Proximo Consulting has launched a new product called COTERIE: a Web 2.0 Social Networking Tool. This product enables organizations to launch into the Web 2.0 era
and supplement their traditional marketing techniques. These Web 2.0
applications are becoming increasingly beneficial and necessary in the
association and not for profit space. As printed on the American Society of
Association Executive's article Social Media Supplement, "These tools are
different and are becoming critical to include in all future communication
strategy. It is how people are learning to interact-and one discussion with a
college student will prove to you that it is how people will expect to interact
in the not-too-distant future." As the technology within this realm continues to develop and evolve more tools will be necessary to keep up with the competition.
