In Their Words: Amarachi Anthony

This week, we're highlighting the exceptional Amarachi Anthony. Amarachi is a gifted programmer and analytics specialist based out of Dallas, who has been with Proximo since 2022.

Amarachi's path to Proximo was guided by her desire to align her professional life with a company that values inclusivity above all. She was attracted to Proximo because of its dedication to fostering a workplace where diversity is not just welcomed but celebrated, and every team member feels included. Amarachi expresses that "the company's strong emphasis on inclusion, reflected in the diverse team of individuals with unique backgrounds and perspectives, really resonated with me."

Among her many accomplishments at Proximo, Amarachi is especially proud of her role in the redevelopment of a client’s platform supporting health care benchmarks for musculoskeletal tumors. This project was a perfect showcase for her development expertise, creating a tool that simplifies data visualization and analysis. "Successfully recreating the dashboard for our client was a significant achievement for me, offering them a pivotal tool for efficient data visualization and analysis," she said.

What Amarachi loves most about working at Proximo is the constant opportunity for professional growth and learning. "I love the daily challenges and the variety of projects that enhance my professional development. The excitement of tackling new challenges and the continuous learning process is what I look forward to every day," she remarks. The culture of teamwork and collaboration at Proximo is another aspect that Amarachi values highly. "The Proximo team is extraordinary, and collaborating towards shared goals has been immensely fulfilling."

Beyond her career, Amarachi is most proud of her role as a mother and her ability to juggle the responsibilities of parenthood with her successful career. "Balancing motherhood with my career has been my greatest personal triumph," she reflects. In her professional life, she takes pride in her contributions to impactful analytics solutions, as a she strives to be a leader in her domain.

Adaptability is Amarachi's greatest asset, enabling her to smoothly navigate through the uncertainties of life and work with poise and effectiveness. "The ability to adapt to unexpected changes has proven to be invaluable, allowing me to face challenges with an open mind and find viable solutions," she shares.

When it comes to cuisine, Amarachi's preferences are deeply rooted in the rich flavors of Nigerian Spicy Jollof Rice with goat meat, showcasing her love for intense and hearty meals. As for American cuisine, “I prefer a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes.”

Outside of her professional commitments, Amarachi's favorite pastime is spending quality moments with her family. "Be it a weekend excursion, a simple stroll, or unwinding at home, those times with my loved ones are truly precious," she says.

Given the chance to attend a concert of any artist, dead or alive, Amarachi's pick would be Mariah Carey. Mariah's voice and extraordinary performances would be a dream come true for Amarachi.
