For Iarah Almeida, joining Proximo felt like an easy decision. The people she met during the interview process, the company’s energy, and its focus on data, insights, and emerging technologies all aligned with what she wanted in her next opportunity.

A full-stack professional, Iarah enjoys the variety and ownership that come with working across an entire solution. Whether she is architecting a new feature, optimizing a database, improving a pipeline, or moving between .NET, React, cloud environments, and databases, she brings adaptability, versatility, and a strong sense of responsibility to her work. One of her most rewarding accomplishments at Proximo was integrating OpenAI for a client with highly specific and complex requirements, a challenge that required both creative and technical thinking.

Outside of work, Iarah enjoys reading, playing PC and board games, practicing Pilates, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She also loves baking bread and preparing a classic homemade burger with plenty of seasoning and toppings.

At her core, Iarah is deeply curious about people, ideas, and the world around her. She believes that good work and good people go hand in hand, and she strives to bring both to everything she does.
