In Their Words: Andre Ruescas Pukar

Meet Andre Ruescas Pukar, a PowerBI Developer on the Proximo team!

Andre enjoys turning raw data into meaningful products designed around what each client actually needs. Because every client and project is different, he values the challenge of finding the right approach and the satisfaction of seeing a solution through delivery. His career has evolved from working with BI within finance and costing to making BI his full-time focus, working on everything from targeted fixes to complete dashboard builds and following reports from initial requirements through sign-off.

For Andre, Proximo stood out as a results-oriented company that treats data with responsibility and care while creating an environment where differences are respected and valued. That combination of technical focus and a welcoming culture made Proximo a natural fit for him.

With a background that combines both engineering and business, Andre is proud of his ability to understand not only the data itself, but the business needs behind it. He considers adaptability and responsibility among his greatest strengths. He is comfortable facing new situations and places a high value on being someone others can count on.

Outside of work, Andre enjoys playing computer games with friends, cycling, playing guitar, and cooking, especially pasta and hamburgers. If he could see any band perform, it would be Led Zeppelin. Rock on!

At his core, Andre describes himself as someone who loves life, enjoys helping others, and holds himself to high standards. His wife and family are deeply important to him, and gratitude is central to the way he approaches his life.
